A Mountaintop Wedding at Beaver Creek Wedding Deck
& Minturn Saloon

Annette and Derek brought family and friends from around the world to celebrate their wedding in a place that had been part of their story long before they were engaged. Derek grew up skiing at Beaver Creek, and as their relationship grew, the mountain became just as meaningful to Annette. One summer visit made it clear: if they ever got married, it would be at the top of a mountain, with a chairlift ride to get there.

Their wedding day reflected that vision. They exchanged vows in a Jewish ceremony at Beaver Creek Wedding Deck, surrounded by mountain views and with their dog, Gemma, by their side. Afterward, everyone gathered at Spruce Saddle Lodge for a Swedish fika, incorporating another family tradition and making time to celebrate with their people before the reception. The celebration continued at Minturn Saloon, where guests gathered for outdoor cocktails, a buffet-style dinner, and a live band that kept everyone dancing into the night.
