Hi, we’re Lauren & Travis.
Besides being documentary-style wedding and elopement photographers, we’re also creative problem solvers, travel pros, location scouters, and the ultimate hype crew.
Our list of skills is all thanks to the 100+ incredible couples who have trusted us to play a co-creative part in crafting their wedding experience, invited us into their intimate celebrations, and have allowed us to help tell a meaningful chapter of their story.
And when it comes to our travel knowledge, it sure doesn’t hurt that we spent 6 years living in our van, traveling around the States with our dog, Denali.

The heart behind our business
We believe your photos should reflect more than how your day looked — they should remind you how it felt. Our approach is grounded in intention and care, balancing quiet observation with gentle guidance to capture the moments that might otherwise go unseen.
At the heart of our work is a desire to preserve your legacy. The images we have of Lauren’s grandmother, Lorraine, are more than family heirlooms. They are the pieces of her we still get to hold onto. That experience reminds us why photographs matter and grounds everything we do.
Our goal is to create images that carry that same weight, ones that remind you not only of your day but of the people, emotions, and love that filled it.
As a husband and wife team, we have spent over a decade refining our craft — allowing us to develop a certain rhythm and understanding that allows us to work together effortlessly. We anticipate each other's perspectives and complement one another's approach, creating a dynamic that allows us to support you in being fully present on your wedding day.
Our work is rooted in documenting otherwise fleeting moments, both big and small, so that you are able to relive your wedding day for years to come.
On April 14, 2024, we celebrated our own wedding in Joshua Tree, California, surrounded by our closest people.We understand the depth of what you’re planning — not just through our work, but through the experience of planning our own.

Even though Lorraine wasn’t a photographer… she’s the inspiration behind our business and our name.
Lauren’s late grandmother, Lorraine, who everyone called “Nanny,” fiercely believed in stepping out of your comfort zone, doing things on your terms, and living life to the fullest. And that’s everything Love, Lorraine stands for today.
Although Lorraine passed in June of 2019, our business is a tribute to an incredible person who cheered Lauren on through every milestone, every heartache, and every failure, shaping her into the person she is today.

The truth is, you don’t.
We’re not here to lasso you into our wedding photography packages or to hard sell you on our services — that’s not our style. And besides, this decision has to be one that feels right to you.
Our passion is capturing weddings and elopements that are intentional, meaningful, and allow you two to be so immersed in each and every moment that you won’t even notice the cameras.
